So far, I have no real complaints. The learning curve is high, especially if you are used to a model from say, 10 years ago, as there are so many options for sound processing, but I would definitely recommend this receiver for anyone building a home theater system who may want to continue adding/upgrading over the years, as it is loaded with features that will not be obsolete for many years to come. It is powerful enough, and the power is clean enough to drive even the best consumer (and likely some pro) speakers. Calibration is very easy as well, and with the included microphone, it will optimize the speaker calibration by calculating the proper volumes, etc., for many points in a given room, small or large.
