Replaced my Denon AVR2807 because I wanted more power, updated HDMI, and THX. Sound is awesome, setup/install fairly easy for those who have basic home theater knowledge and have set up a receiver before. Instruction manual a must; installation/setup easier and quicker with manual. Color-coded wiring posts in rear helpful. Plenty of HDMI inputs. Audessey speaker setup is fairly accurate; I still tweaked mine after initial setup. Remote is way easier to use and understand than Denon. Tons of movie, music, gaming sound options. Have not experienced heat problem as some others; just be sure your cabinet is well-ventilated. No DVD installed yet, therefore no knowledge of Blu-Ray HDMI image problems as others. 130 watts x 7 is plenty for my Klipsch speakers. Price is right through Amazon.
