I purchased the product about 1 month ago and I am using it as the heart of my home theater room. I wired the basement room for 7.1 surround sound and have combined this reciever with Klipsch speakers. This reciever, without any extra amplification, drives this system with outstanding preformance. Clear, crisp highs and excellent base. I added the 12", 650 watt Klipsch sub and I can feel the movies as I watch them. The Onkyo was easy to set up and the Audyssey microphone helps you perfect your sound for your individual room.
