We watch movies, yet like to rock out sometimes. The 1080, THX features were important for the movies and the stereo options, exspecially for newer recorded music is what we were looking for. The automatic set up did not really work for our "listening" preferances but it only took a few minutes to tweak the sound. Like the on screen menue feature.
