I had a SR804, the predecessor to this product, but it met an untimely death due to owner clumsiness. I was sick about it, but found the SR806 looked like an upgraded product. Wow was it ever. Much easier to set up, easier to navigate, and a far superior audio and video quality. The auto speaker set-up was bang on target, where with the 804 I had to make many adjustments. Great 7.1 separation and reproduction. I don't know how any other receiver could be better. Get more detail about Onkyo TX-SR806 7.1 Channel Home Theater Receiver (Black).
